Journey from Fes to Marrakech over four days, with time in the Middle Atlas, the Merzouga desert region and the kasbah country south of the High Atlas. The route uses a hotel near the dunes on the first night, a desert camp on the second and an Ouarzazate stay on the third.
A full day around Erg Chebbi provides time for desert landscapes and Khamlia before a camel approach to camp. The route then turns west through Todra Gorge and the southern valleys. The final day includes Ait Ben Haddou and the mountain crossing to Marrakech.
Travel from Fes to Marrakech through the Middle Atlas, the Merzouga region and the southern valleys. The three-night sequence places the first stay near the dunes, the second at camp after the camel stage and the third in Ouarzazate before the High Atlas crossing.
The additional desert day includes the Erg Chebbi surroundings and Khamlia, giving more context than a single late arrival followed by an immediate departure. The private off-road vehicle and English-speaking driver provide the road links throughout the itinerary.
Todra Gorge and Ait Ben Haddou add walking visits between the transfers. Choose the accommodation option for the facilities actually provided, and keep lunches, drinks and optional activities separate from the included dinner-and-breakfast stays. The journey finishes in Marrakech.
For destination background, consult the UNESCO World Heritage destination record.
It starts in Fes and finishes in Marrakech, but the daily programme has its own overnight order: a Merzouga-area night, a camp night, then Ouarzazate.
Three nights with dinner and breakfast are listed. Lunches, drinks and optional activities remain separate.

Choose the Fes to Marrakech direction around your wider holiday route. The first night is near the dunes, followed by the camp night and then Ouarzazate. This overnight order is important when comparing four-day offers; reversing the city names of another itinerary does not necessarily produce the same programme.
The Fes to Marrakech journey combines private road transport with visits to shared destinations. Confirm the selected room and camp category, and keep lunches, drinks and optional activities outside the included dinner-and-breakfast arrangement. On the final day, allow for both Ait Ben Haddou and the High Atlas crossing before making plans in Marrakech.

Begin at the agreed pickup point in Fes and travel through Ifrane, Azrou and Midelt towards the Ziz Valley. The Middle Atlas section and the changing oasis landscapes provide the day's main scenery, with stops fitted around the long southbound journey. Continue to the Merzouga region for the first night near the dunes. This accommodation stage comes before the following day's camp experience, so the two desert nights have different roles in the itinerary. Dinner and breakfast are included with the selected stay; lunches and drinks are separate.
Spend the day around Erg Chebbi and Khamlia, using the extra time in the Merzouga region to experience more than the road approach to the dunes. Follow the driver and local team on the agreed sequence of visits and the preparation for the camp stage. The included camel ride forms the approach to the desert camp, with the timing coordinated on the day. Keep a small bag ready for the overnight and use the selected camp option for the actual facilities. Optional activities beyond the programme are separate. Dinner and breakfast follow the booked accommodation arrangement.
Leave the Merzouga region and travel west via Rissani and Todra Gorge. The day connects the desert with oasis towns, the gorge landscape and the southern valleys, providing opportunities to step out of the vehicle along the route. Continue through the Valley of Roses towards Ouarzazate for the third night. Keep the stops in balance with the road journey rather than expecting a full guided visit at every settlement passed. Lunches and drinks are paid separately; dinner and breakfast are included with the overnight accommodation.
Visit the Ait Ben Haddou setting before crossing the High Atlas towards Marrakech. The walk through the ksar involves uneven lanes and steps, while the later mountain-road stage brings a succession of valley views and bends on the way north. The journey ends in Marrakech at the agreed drop-off point. Allow flexibility for the road arrival and arrange your own city accommodation or onward travel accordingly. The private vehicle and English-speaking driver remain the transport arrangement for the route; services outside the selected programme should not be assumed included.
